How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us - for example data you enter in a contact form or submit when booking via Calendly. Other data is collected automatically or after your consent when you visit the website by our IT systems or the hosting provider. This is mainly technical data (e.g. browser, operating system or time of page view).
2. Hosting and content delivery networks (CDN)
This website is delivered via Firebase Hosting (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; parent company Google LLC, USA where applicable). Personal data arising when you visit the site (e.g. IP address, time of request, amount of data transferred) may be processed on servers in the European Economic Area or - when global infrastructure/CDN is used - in the USA or other third countries. Google/Firebase offers standard contractual clauses and other safeguards under the GDPR; nevertheless, the level of data protection may not be fully equivalent to that of the EU. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, fast and stable website). More information: Firebase / Google privacy, Google privacy policy.
3. General notes and mandatory information
Privacy
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection rules and this privacy policy.
Note on transfer to the USA and other third countries
We use services where processing in the USA or other third countries without an EU-equivalent level of data protection cannot be excluded. In those countries an EU-comparable level of data protection is not guaranteed.
Revocation of your consent to processing
Many processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent already given at any time. The lawfulness of processing carried out before revocation remains unaffected.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookie consent and embedded map (Google Maps)
This site shows a banner about cookies and the embedded Google Map. We store your choice (whether to load the map or not) in the browser under the key studiojans_cookie_consent in localStorage so it persists across visits. The Google Map loads only after you consent; personal data may then be transferred to Google. You can reopen the dialog anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer or clear site data in your browser.
Inquiries by email, phone or WhatsApp
If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, your inquiry including all personal data resulting from it (name, message content) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request.
WhatsApp: We use the business version of WhatsApp. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited. Please note that WhatsApp has access to metadata and data may be transferred to parent company Meta in the USA. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures).
5. Social media
Instagram and Facebook
Our website may embed functions of Instagram and Facebook. These are offered by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. If you are logged into your account, these providers may associate your visit to our website with your user account.
6. Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- obtain information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR);
- request rectification or erasure of this data (Art. 16 & 17 GDPR);
- request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
- object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR);
