About the Studio
Artist, founder and creative mind behind the spin painting studio in Berlin.
Since 2017, Studio Jans Echternacht has been the Berlin studio and event space for workshops and events by artist Jans Echternacht. Originals, commissioned works and spin paintings for private rooms, companies, clubs, film, TV and campaigns are created here. Using the art machine developed by Jans Echternacht and built by a team of electricians and carpenters, guests can create personal artworks under guidance. The studio connects free art, individual commissions, private workshops, team events and the childrens aid project artists for children e.V.

The studio is in the middle of Prenzlauer Berg, on Oderberger Strasse, between Mauerpark, Arkonaplatz and Kastanienallee. Oderberger Strasse was voted one of the three most beautiful streets in Berlin. Your spin painting event can be combined with coffee, a restaurant visit, shopping or a walk through the weekend flea markets.

In and around Oderberger Strasse, you will find many small shops, cosy cafes and restaurants. The Bonanza Coffee Heroes are located directly in the building and are a meeting point for coffee lovers from around the world.

Weekend Flea Markets
Both the Mauerpark flea market and the flea market at Arkonaplatz are among the nicest flea markets in Berlin. They take place every Sunday.

What is spin painting?
In spin painting, paint is applied to a rotating canvas. Movement and speed create unique, dynamic artworks.
Which formats does the studio offer?
The studio offers private workshops, team events, Brunch & Art at Bonvivant, personalised logo and emblem artworks, gift vouchers and original works by Jans Echternacht.
How does a private workshop work?
You choose colours, receive a short introduction and create your own artwork on the spin painting machine. After drying, the artwork can be collected or shipped by arrangement.
Do I need to know how to paint?
No. The workshops are designed to produce a strong result without any previous experience. Curiosity and the joy of creating together are what matter.
How long does a workshop take?
Private studio workshops take around 60 minutes. The Brunch & Art workshop takes 30 minutes. Team-event duration depends on the format and number of artworks; mobile events are planned around the occasion.
What does a workshop or team event cost?
Private workshops start at EUR 95, Brunch & Art at EUR 125 and team events at EUR 185. Mobile events start at EUR 800 for private occasions and EUR 1,500 for business events. Originals and commissions are priced according to the work and format.
What is Brunch & Art at Bonvivant?
Brunch & Art combines a 30-minute private spin painting workshop in Bonvivant’s dining room with a vegan brunch directly afterwards. Brunch & Art 60 includes two people and Brunch & Art 80 includes four people in the workshop price. Brunch is paid separately at Bonvivant.
Are team events and commissioned works possible?
Yes. Teams can create individual artworks in small groups or one larger artwork together for an office, reception area or meeting room. If desired, Studio Jans Echternacht can integrate the company logo into the artwork afterwards.
Can logos, emblems or club motifs be integrated?
Yes. Logos, emblems or club motifs can be integrated into the artwork after the workshop or created as a commissioned piece.
Are gift vouchers and mobile formats available?
Yes. Gift vouchers are available for creative experiences in the studio or at Bonvivant. For weddings, corporate events and selected occasions, a mobile spin painting setup is also possible.
